We are back to youth group TOMORROW NIGHT!
We’ll be kicking off the New Year as a youth group in the way that we always do: with our annual AFTER CHRISTMAS CHRISTMAS PARTY! Here are the details you need to know:
White Elephant Gift: Please have you student bring a wrapped White Elephant gift $5 or under in value. I told students to find something that others might actually want this year (instead of a toilet paper roll or something like that).
Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest: Have your students wear an ugly Christmas sweater. If we deem that their sweater is the most ugly, they’ll win a prize!
Other Games: We’ll also be playing some other Christmas themed games throughout the evening.

We’ll be back to more normal youth group starting next week. I will try to get a calendar out to everyone in the coming weeks. As you all know, trying to plan for the year during COVID is a challenge with all of the unknowns.
What I do know is that we’ll be starting up a new Youth Group series next week watching “The Chosen” together as a youth group. If you’ve never heard of these videos, they are incredibly well done/well told episodes of Christ’s calling of the disciples in the gospels. You can view a little preview of the videos here.
