Last night we took a break from our normal routine and watched “The Case for Christ” together! If you haven’t seen it, or read the book, it’s a story about an investigative journalist who tries disprove the resurrection of Jesus Christ (the lynchpin of the Christian faith). While investigating, he asks many scholars tough questions about the validity of the resurrection, and… in the end, he finds that the account of the resurrection is as sound as can be! It’s an amazing, true story! I would highly recommend the book, which you can find here.

I’ll also mention that we are once again partnering with Adrian Inzerillo (a former EBC youth leader) to help with HS Adventure Camp at Eagle Fern this Summer. It’s a pretty high octane camp in which we do high ropes challenges, rock climbing, rafting, and many other activities. It’s centered around Adrian’s teaching on creation, in which he answers difficult questions about evolution and science from a Biblical perspective. I’d love to have lots of EBC’ers attend! It’s available for incoming 9th graders- outgoing 12 graders. You can find more info and register online here. If cost is a big obstacle, please feel free to reach out and I’ll try to work something out!

NEXT WEEK we’ll be celebrating the end of school/start of Summer by having our annual “School’s Out Scream”! We’ll be having a BBQ to start youth group with burgers and hot dogs, so students are encouraged to come hungry!

With you and for you in Christ.
