*WHERE WILL WE BE HAVING OUR RETREAT AND WHAT IS THE COST?
Camp Jonah in Trout Lake, WA. The cost this year is $95 for early registration ($105 if paid after May 1). This includes your accommodations plus three meals Saturday and Sunday breakfast. Friday night dinner is catered by Daddy D’s BBQ. It is $5 extra and will be served at 5:30pm.
*WHERE IS TROUT LAKE AND HOW FAR AWAY IS IT?
Trout Lake is about an hour and a half drive from Vancouver. The address for Camp Jonah is 31 Little Mountain Rd, Trout Lake, WA 98650.
*WHAT TIME CAN WE ARRIVE AND WHAT TIME DO WE NEED TO LEAVE?
Arrive any time after 2:00 on Friday. Registration begins at 4pm and dinner is anytime between 5:30-6:45. The retreat ends around 11:00 AM on Sunday.
*WHAT KIND OF ACCOMMODATIONS ARE AT THE CENTER?
There are dorm style bunks, in several different rooms. There are showers in the locker room with private shower stalls. You can also put up a tent in the grass, though the nights are cool. There’s limited space for RV’s, but please ask in advance.
*WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
You will need a sleeping bag (or bedding if you like), pillow, your personal toiletries, a warm jacket for cool evenings, paper and pen for notes, and your Bible.
*WHAT IF I NEED A RIDE?
Let us know on your registration and we’ll help coordinate rides.
*FREE TIME ACTIVITIES
There’s always plenty to do during free time. There will be a Cornhole Tournament, as well as Disc Golf, Basketball, Board / Card Games, and a Group Hike. Or you can even take a nap!
*WHAT DO I DO TO SIGN UP?
Register and pay $95 on our website with credit/debit by Sunday, May 1 for early registration pricing, or $105 by Sunday, May 8 (the last day to sign up!). If you choose to pay with check or cash, please put it in an envelope with your name, labeled Men’s Retreat. You must prepay before the retreat! Although you are encouraged to attend the full retreat, there are also options for if you are only able to attend one night, or just for the day on Saturday.
*DO YOU NEED A SCHOLARSHIP?
There are some partial scholarships available. Please let us know if you have a need.
