Ryan Aufenkamp
Ryan and Emily were married in 2014 while attending Western Washington University together. Ryan graduated from WWU in 2015 and began working at a ministry in Bellingham that ran Child Sponsorship Programs. As Ryan and Emily prayed about where to go next, the Lord began opening doors at EBC in the capacities of youth and worship ministry. Having had five years of experience as a volunteer worship leader, and having a passion for youth ministry, Ryan joined the EBC staff in the Summer of 2016 as the Youth and Worship Pastor. In Fall of 2022, he transitioned out of Youth Ministry and into sharing the teaching at EBC. Ryan and Emily have three young children.
As Associate Pastor, he shares the preaching and teaching with Pastor Toby, and also heads up the worship and tech ministry. He serves in various outreach capacities, including leading worship occasionally for Open House Ministries.
