Rock Nest

On January 21-22, I had the opportunity to go to Columbia Bible College in Abbotsford, BC, to recruit college-age students to come serve at Rock Nest Ranch this summer. My oldest daughter, Mabel, joined me on the visit. I was there during an event the college calls “Camp Days”, and I was one of 16 camps represented. I left Columbia with a contact list of 22 students, and I’m praying that two of those students might someday come serve at Rock Nest Ranch and see the need for bringing the hope of Jesus to these kids and teens at camp.

This coming weekend we will be announcing a mission trip for EBC folks to Rock Nest Ranch (this isn’t the announcement, just the announcement that there will be an announcement😊). In the same way I am praying that some students from Columbia will come serve at Rock Nest, I am praying that a good handful of you will come serve there this summer also! The dates are July 12-25, though some may fly up and shorten it to July 13-22. There will be more details available this weekend.

There will be many kids at camp this summer who need to hear of the hope that is found through Jesus. If you know the Lord, you are a bearer of that message of hope. I look forward to learning who from EBC will come serve with us in July, bringing the gospel to kids with a great need for the hope Jesus offers.
