The One Thing We Can Be Sure About
In a world of uncertainty and about to say goodbye to 2024 there’s only one thing we can be sure about for 2025: God is already there!
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11
Only God Who is already in the future is able to give us a future. We can be thankful for all He has given us during these past months, He has blessed us with good health and provided for all our needs; as individuals and families and church, all we are and all we have is because of His love and grace. But we ought to thank Him not only for the things He gives us, let’s thank Him for Who He is!
He is love
He is good
He is our Father
He is our friend
He is Righteous
He is Faithful
He is Holy
He is God
If you know Him you know He is near and you know that He will always be there for you, even in the saddest and lonely days of your life, because you belong to Him.
Let us trust Him with all our heart, and welcome 2025 with the assurance that God has a perfect plan for us. He will continue to watch over your life and home. He will teach us and our children so we will learn to walk in His ways. He will guide our leaders, and He will make sure that our church body keeps on advancing towards the goal He has placed in front of our eyes. Fase II will be completed because He will make it possible, our church will make more and better disciples of Jesus Christ because that’s God’s will for us, your family and mine will enjoy the upcoming days and months despite any struggle or obstacle we might have to face because of the one thing we can be sure about: God is already there!
