Two Months of Missions Matching
In the spirit of back-to-school, here’ s a quick pop quiz on the subject of EBC Missions.
- Who are our missionary appointees to Peru? (Half credit if you can only remember their last name. Extra credit if you can remember their two girls’ names.)
- What mission organization are they going with? (Hint – we have another missionary family serving with the same mission to children.)
- What is the one thing they need before they can leave for Peru?
I threw that last question in because I want to make sure everyone is able to get at least one right. It’s obvious, right? They need more monthly financial support commitments. Raising money is the toughest task most missionaries face and I’m sure Seth and Jessica would concur. The Howells currently have 80% of their monthly support raised. They have sold their house and are so eager to raise the remaining funds so they can finally get to Peru and begin their ministry with Kids Alive International.
If you have not gotten on board, now would be a particularly strategic time to do so. The Howell’s just announced that a generous partner has agreed to match any gifts made in the next two months up to a total of $4,000. The Great Commission is our calling and the Howells are part of our body, so please help us supply their financial need to serve God in Peru.
