Worship Services this Weekend

If I’ve learned anything in my years of public speaking, it is that communication is really difficult! No, it’s not hard to stand up front and say words (well, sometimes it’s harder than others), but rather, the challenge is in sharing information clearly, so that you don’t leave people with more questions than answers.

So with that in mind, I want to do my best to re-communicate more clearly about our upcoming weekend. We have a joint English/Spanish Worship Service happening this Sunday, February 25 at 1:30pm. Everyone is invited to consider coming for that service, instead of the usual worship service that you go to. The service will be translated, where appropriate, so that you can fully participate.

At the same, we are ALSO still having our regular Saturday Evening and Sunday Morning Worship Services, at 6:00pm, 9:00am, and 11:00am. And you are very welcome to attend the service that you normally attend. In fact, if we are honest, it’s not possible for 100% of the people from those three services to attend at 1:30pm! So which service should you go to? Well, you have freedom to choose. You are invited to the Spanish Service, but you are equally welcome to simply attend your typical worship service. I am blessed with an easy decision-making process, in that I will be at all four. 🙂

Now, here’s some info to know about these worship services, some of which I just learned today, myself. In all four worship services, the same preacher will be preaching the same message. During the 1:30 service, that message will be translated into Spanish. During the other three services, that message will simply be given in English, without Spanish interpretation. Also, the Worship Team this weekend is a mix of people from the English and Spanish congregations and they will lead us in the same songs at all four services, and as such, there will be a mix of English and Spanish songs sung in all four services.

Hopefully that all makes some sense! I look forward to seeing you this coming weekend, whether Saturday at 6:00pm, Sunday at 9:00am, 11:00am or 1:30pm. See you then!
